The rezoning of West Harlem must include community targeted affordable housing, jobs, business oppor

  • recipient: Council Member Jackson must tell the Harlem and Washington Heights communities that he supports these "Community Economic Provisions" and convince the New York City Council to vote for these inclusions in the rezoning of West Harlem.

New York City Planning Commission policy is to displace Harlem and Washington Hieghts residents with a wealtheir population.  This must stop and it starts with Council Member Robert Jackson voting against the rezoning of West Harlem unless the "Community Economic Provisions" are included.
