Animal Advocates I am urging you to sign this pettition. We can give a voice to those animals that have been neglected or abused.
Animal control can only recommended findings to the District Attorney’s office. The DA MUST take the evidence and push forward holding people accountable for their actions when animals SUFFER. That’s why we have LAWS in CALIFORNIA.
In this case a woman who loved her dog with all her heart passed only 2 years after adopting K, K the beautiful German Shepherd dog was given away by the executer of her estate. He was given to someone that resides on Hedge Avenue in Sacramento.
K was tied up there when he was spotted. With help from an attorney was finally removed. The vets found him to be suffering with an acute infection most likely stemming from the hundreds of fox tails that were imbedded in his fur/skin as well as both ears severely infected.
K was in so much pain he was unable to sit for 2 days he hid in the corner of the house and yelpped. K recieved antibiotics, steroids, medicated baths, spays and ear medications for 6 weeks. Then had to go to UC Davis because of an absces under his skin where an embedded fox tail was in the center of pus filled pocket.
The above picture was taken by a vet tech of K's hind area.
PLEASE SPEAK UP AND GIVE K A VOICE.
UPDDATE Sac Animal Control has conveyed that because K was removed before they investigated that if there was a chance of prosecution that now its weak because K wasnt left at that home in his condition for Animal Control to see. ( Are they serious?) In addition, When K was picked up and taken directly to a vets by a law clerk opperating under an attorney a welfare check was reqested in writing to check on the female German Shepherd that was at the same home who was seen " wreching " After a public records request it was noted AC went to the wrong house. ( unacceptable )
