Educate Global Youth to Fight Poverty

Education is the single most powerful tool we have to fight poverty. But the old standard -- basic literacy -- is not enough.

Around the world, young people have managed to complete some schooling, but don't have employable job skills because they can't afford the training to finish. Every year of education after high school increases a student's earning power and opportunity to transform his or her life. But for most, that's not an option.

It's time to go beyond literacy and take a stand for the power of education in developing countries. We can empower global youth and help them break the cycle of poverty once and for all.
