Tell Donald Trump: Support Wind Power in Scotland!
Recently, Donald Trump has begun to rally against a windfarm project that would block the view from his soon to be completed golf resort in Aberdeen, Scotland.
The proposed project would put 11 wind turbines off the coast of Aberdeen and is "of strategic importance to Aberdeen and Scotland's renewable energy ambitions."
Trump calls himself an "environmentalist" for his efforts in Aberdeen, but attempting to halt the development of an alternative energy source in Scotland indicates the contrary. Trump's disappointment is understandable, but his resort should not stand in the way of something that would help promote renewable energy in Scotland.
Tell Donald Trump to support environmentally friendly practices and stop his opposition to the Aberdeen windfarm project.
The windfarm in Aberdeen promises to help Scotland expand and explore its use of renewable energy sources. While it may block the view of the Aberdeen coastline, it is important to keep Scotland's best interest in mind.
Windfarm project spokesman David Roger has commented that the project "is "of strategic importance to Aberdeen and Scotland's renewable energy ambitions." This being the case, the project should be implemented.
Frustrations surrounding the windfarm in relation to the Aberdeen golf resort are understandable. But as an environmentalist, please understand that supporting renewable energy in Scotland is of the utmost importance. Please prioritize Scotland's best interests by supporting the windfarm project rather than opposing it.
