"Pimps" Need to be Jailed - Not Glorified

   Americans have added "Pimp" to their standard slang - without knowing  the true meaning behind the word. Many see "Pimps" as men who are sought after by "those" women, the reality is that THE AVERAGE AGE OF A GIRL RECRUITED BY A PIMP IS 11-13 YEARS OLD. We think Pimps manage girls who choose sex for money, the truth is that PIMPS TEACH THEIR GIRLS ITS ONLY "RAPE" IF YOU AREN'T PAID . And sadly, we think cops would handle the situation if it were this bad, the truth is that the LEGAL SYSTEM CHARGES CHILDREN UNDER THE "AGE OF CONSENT" WITH PROSTITUTION (and call it a "trash run"), BEFORE THEY CHARGE THE PEDOPHILE. It is understandable that we all fell for the glamorous "Pimp" image when it was first sold to us, but it is time we start helping the many girls (and boys) that it has hurt!

By signing this petition, I'm asking YOU to stop using the term "Pimp" as a positive attribute and acknowledge them for what they are.  I ask that you continue to learn about this issue and fight the stereotype whenever you have the opportunity.
