Under Persecution!

Help end the persecution of over 100 monks in Greece.

"Our battle is for truth and the true Orthodox way of life, which the patriarch is attempting to silence."
Abbot Methodios

All the Esphigmenou monks wish to do is to be left alone to pray in their monastery. They have committed their lives to peaceful prayer, but the Greek government has shattered that peace. The Greek government allows freedom for all religions in Greece - but if you disagree with the Patriarch in Istanbul, you will be persecuted with the full force of the Greek Armed Forces and Police, as the monks of Esphigmenou have so painfully learned.

The Greek Government continues the blockade of Esphigmenou Monastery on behalf of
Patriarch Bartholomew of Istanbul.
