Violations of African Union troops in Darfur

"…rapes by multiple perpetrators of large numbers of women and girls from different ethnic groups targeted by Sudanese government forces and militias" reported HRW

It seems that some African Union troops, deployed to protect the civilians from the heinous crimes, have themselves exploited the situation and exacerbated the lives of the victims they are supposed to protect. The cry of the many victims has remained unheard till the report in the following link:

Thorough investigations should be conducted and the perpetrators must be brought to justice.
