Protect Wolves

Wolves must remain Protected in States by the Federal Government not managed by States /Governors /Wildlife Services who wish to exterminate them for purposes of Greed and hate. And Laws to protect them from Helicopter Shooting that are Illegal according to the Wilderness Act.The rider that stripped wolves from the ESA is unpatriotic, was not supported by most Americans, caves in to special lobbying anti wolf extremists, and is unscientific. It is outrageous that the rider that stripped wolves of their ESA protections went against public support, the courts, and the intent of Congress in implementing the ESA. It is extremely disturbing that the rider also prevents any review by the courts of the so-called "wolf management plans" that are calling for killing up to 60% of our wolves in the first year.Despite the promotion of the North American Model of Wildlife Conservation (NAMWC), there are many apparent contradictions between the ideal and how wildlife is actually managed by state wildlife agencies. NAMWC prohibits the frivolous killing and waste of wildlife. Given that few hunters actually consume coyotes, wolves, cougars, and even bears, it is obviously a "waste" of wildlife to shoot or trap these animals just for "fun." One of the major weaknesses of the current polities of state agencies is the bias towards huntable wildlife. Some 99% of all other wildlife is ignored and suffers benign neglect, or worse.
