Congress Member’s making close to $200,000 a year, plus perks. They have free healthcare for life that includes their family. During the recession congress members assets increased over 21 % percent, while the people on “Main Street” lost 16 % percent. Don’t you think congress members can afford to have a percentage of their earnings to each of their States to go to help homeless families including veterans?

have all of Congress personally contribute out of their salaries that the
American citizen’s pays for through taxes have donations deducted directly from
their pay checks; to aid the homeless, hungry and families with children,

Let it be known that those members of both Houses, have for several decades,

Members of both, the
House of Representatives, and the Senate are millionaires that are close to
half of Congress.
It's estimated that more
than 252 Members of Congress are millionaires.
The House has 435 plus
six non-voting.
The Senate has 100, for a total of 535 voting members. What is amazing is a
high percentage of the most wealthy; increased among members of Congress, from
2007 until 2011, while "Main Street" Americans, suffered losses.
