Nosey is an African elephant stolen from her herd in Zimbabwe when she was 2-years old. She has been the "property" of Hugo Tomi Liebel since 1988. Liebel has used her as a circus elephant in his circus called "Liebel Family Circus" based in Davenport, Florida, USDA License #58-C-0288. She is 30 years old and has a long list of ailments including arthritis, a skin disease and tuberculosis. Hugo Tomi Liebel takes her on the road to various states cramped in a small trailer always alone and chained. Loneliness on itself is torture for an elephant who would live in the herd in the wild for life. Hugo Tomi Liebel also forces her to give rides to humans and even to pull vans as if she was a tow truck. YouTube has an innumerable amount of videos documenting her deteriorating health, pain and the abuse she is subjected to by Hugo Tomi Liebel. Concerned citizens have reached out to the USDA asking the agency to look into Nosey's situation and help her. The agency has ignored them. The USDA has a long list of Liebel breaking the law and it allows him to keep breaking it by paying fines. It is not acceptable. Please, air "An Apology to Elephants". Nosey is featured and she needs help now more than ever. The people of this country and the world need to know. Elephants are in danger of extinction within two decades and the USDA is playing politics. Thank you, Erika
