Ban the use of Dihydrogen Monoxide

Even with the growing emphasis being placed on corporations embracing Greener policies, the use of Dihydrogen Monoxide is still being used in many foods and other products. In fact almost every manufacturing plant in the United States, regardless of what industry, uses Dihydrogen Monoxide in some aspect of their manufacturing process.

Our children are being exposed to it in practically everything they eat or drink. It's time we take some initiative and show the corporations that we need to be more mindful of the things we put into our bodies and into our environment. Not only should we be concerned about our own health, but the health of the planet as well.

What is Dihydrogen Monoxide? The following is taken from the Dihydrogen Monoxide Research Division website (http://www.dhmo.org/facts.html):

"Dihydrogen Monoxide (DHMO) is a colorless and odorless chemical compound, also referred to by some as Dihydrogen Oxide, Hydrogen Hydroxide, Hydronium Hydroxide, or simply Hydric acid. Its basis is the highly reactive hydroxyl radical, a species shown to mutate DNA, denature proteins, disrupt cell membranes, and chemically alter critical neurotransmitters. The atomic components of DHMO are found in a number of caustic, explosive and poisonous compounds such as Sulfuric Acid, Nitroglycerine and Ethyl Alcohol."
