The island of Losinj's is the area of remarkably high biological diversity. Unique and unusual contact of the sea and the forest along the coastline, with its stone rocks submerged into the crystal clear sea is a typical Losinj scenery. Something the island is known for.
This island's landscape is formed by 100 years old pine forest planted by the old islanders and miles and miles of dry stone walls where each stone was layed by their bare hands. More than a hundred years of tourism, which developed slowly, methodically and with great respect of limited resources of the island's nature, haven't ruined this landscape.
Until now.
Let's stop urbanistic plans of the local authorities to enable destruction of rocks with dynamite, backfilling and concreting of our natural coastline, bays and beaches in order to commercialize them for the need of mass tourism!

Lokalnim vlastima Lošinja: zaustavite devastaciju prirodne obale otoka Lošinja

Otok Lošinj je područje izvanredno velike biološke raznolikosti. Jedinstven i neobičan dodir mora i šume na obalama, s kamenitim stijenama koje ulaze u kristalno bistro more, tipični je prizor s otoka Lošinja. Upravo je po tome otok cijenjen i poznat.

Otočki krajobraz je formiran stoljetnom borovom šumom koju su posadili stari otočani i izrezbaren kilometrima suhozida u kojima je svaki kamen postavljen njihovim vlastitim rukama.

Više od stotinu godina turizma, koji se je razvijao polagano, planski i uz poštovanje prirodnih ograničenih resursa otoka nije uništilo krajobraz.

Do sada.

Zaustavimo urbanističke planove lokalnih vlasti da omoguće investitorima miniranje, nasipavanje i betoniranje prirodne obale, uvala i plaža, kako bi ih komercijalizirali za potrebe masovnog turizma!

Die Insel Lošinj hat eine ausserordentlich hohe biologische Vielfalt. Eine Einzigartige und ungewöhnliche Verbindung von Meer und Wald entlang des Ufers. Felssteinen die im klaren Meer versinken sind das typische Bild, ein Bild für das die Insel bekannt ist.

Die Landschaft der Insel besteht zum teil aus mediterranen Kiefer Wälder die vor 100 Jahren von einheimischen Inselbewohnern gepflanzt worden sind, genauso wie die Steinmauern die stein für stein bei hand gebaut wurden.

Mehr als einhundert Jahre Tourismus, der sich langsam entwickelt hat, durchdacht und mit grossem Respekt für die Natur, hat die Landschaft der Insel nicht zerstört. Bis jetzt.

Lassen Sie uns die Baupläne der lokalen Behörden stoppen, z.b. die Zerstörung von Felsen mit Sprengstoff, das auffüllen des Meeres zur platz Gewinnung oder Liegeflächen schaffen mit zubetonieren! Die Idee eines lukrativen kommerziellen Massentourismus.
