The Keystone XL pipeline has high potential to damaging rivers and lakes which is hazardous to plants and animals depending on these resources. The process of the pipeline causes an endangerment to many local animals such as the Northern Swift Foxes and their cubs that would be crushed. These are not the only endangered species but either way, it is difficult to imagine any animals, especially the tiny babies ruthlessly eliminated to make way for oil. There must be some form of protection for all of nature’s creatures, along with the habitats they rely on.
Studies by the Center for Biological Diversity revealed that power lines strung for construction, digging, and heavy equipment could all pose threats to endangered or fragile wildlife and habitats. These beautiful areas pose a serious concern for the many plants and residential animal species. Such a process poses a threat of extinction for these loving creatures. No one has given any consideration to these issues and slowed or even halted progress on the project until they could be resolved. The thought of crushing animals alive, let alone adorable endangered species, is a troubling one indeed which is why this is such a big secrete!!
Let’s sign and share this petition to protect these endangered animals such as whooping cranes, northern swift foxes, piping plovers, pallid sturgeon, American burying beetles and more from the Keystone XL pipeline project!! With our help, this will no longer be swept under the rug and appropriate steps will be taken to protect the animals first and foremost from their natural habitat. Such inappropriate efforts of “progress” are ultimately creating many animals to become extinct and endangered!
