Award-winning professor and veterinarian Gene F. Giggleman was recently caught on video smashing squirrels' heads with a cinderblock and recommending that sick snakes be decapitated and frozen. In addition to this blatant cruelty, Giggleman lost his controlled substance log and falsified documents about the health of exotic animals so they could be shipped overseas for the exotic pet trade. Despite a formal repremand and $2,500 fine, Giggleman is still licensed to practice as a veterinarian in Texas. He also kept his job as a professor in Parker University's animal chiropractic program.
Cruelty toward animals is a disgrace to the veterinary profession and should not be tolerated. Allowing Giggleman to continue teaching and practicing veterinary medicine encourages others to abuse animals and participate in the exotic pet trade. Please sign the petition to revoke Giggleman's license and charge him with a felony or misdemeanor for violating the Lacey Act.
