I am a devoted animal lover and have spent many of years on the issues of dog fighting and the affects it has on not only in communites, but the crime rate, and most important our future generation, this is a blood sport that not only is horrific in pain to the animals that suffer, but to the children who witness, this is not a two minute as some would call event, but some times up to an hour to two hours, were these dogs not only are being torn apart and limbs at times are being torn off, but to witness, is some times our future generation of children, and with out being able to tell mommy and daddy i do not want to watch, the effect this has on children who have no choice but to listen to the cries of these dogs and watch the horrific abuse, is not only heart wrenching but a form of mental abuse, for a child to witness such a horrific crime can only lead to a future of unknown, most animal abusers turn into criminals if not killers themselves, my time spent speaking with politicians of different states, we have come further in passing laws and since the michael vick story became evident, but we still have a long way to go, one can not save the world, but one can try and make a difference, and one can speak for the voice that can not be head, community awareness is the key to make your communtiy safe by watching for activities out of the norm, my hopes would be to try and educated as many as i can, and take care of as many as i can through rescue, the pit bull breed is one of the most hated breeds and too often discriminated against and not by the breed, but by the ones that do not know the breed, in working with this breed for many of years, they are one of the most honorable family dogs i have ever owned, but it is many that make this breed so hated, so my continued journey is to try and educate and make communites not only aware, but safe, any donations are greatly appreciated and will go to my continued efforts to try and educate and too the rescued pit bulls that are in need, any questions please message, donations can be sent to, lyndi dinnell p o box 7058 aurora ill. 60507 and i thank you
