Even as society progresses, gender inequality remains prevalent within the workforce. It remains a fact that women earn only about 80% of what men earn, for the same job. We would like to petition to all employers through their human resource managers to quit gender discriminatory practices, be it through hiring requirements or through biased treatment, etc.
We hope that this petition would remind employers of the largely meritocratic society which we live in, where equality should be enforced justly. We also hope that it would empower employees who are unfairly treated or those whom witness gender discriminatory practices to fight for their or others' rights.
