The State Forestry Corps is seizing the “Green Hill”, well-known enterprise in Montichiari that breeds beagle dogs for vivisection laboratories. About 30 men and women of the provincial commands of Brescia, Bergamo and Nucleo Investigativo per i Reati in danno agli Animali participate at inspection and seizing operations, set out by the Public prosecutor’s office. There is also the staff of the Brescia police. Beagle dogs, puppies and older ones, and the whole building consisting of four sheds, offices and other structures for a total of 5 hectares will be seized. The contested crime is mistreatment of animals.
