Since January, over 900 dead dolphins have been found on the beaches of Peru.
Dr. Carlos Yaipen Llanos of ORCA Peru conducted necropsies on 30 of the dolphins, and found evidence that acoustical trauma and the startled rapid race to the surface caused decompression syndrome, commonly known to humans as the bends.

Loud noise created from seismic testing for oil exploration is believed the cause. The same Mass Mortality Event (MME) of melon-headed whales was seen in Madagascar while seismic testing for oil exlporation was being conducted in the area in 2008.
And now seismic testing in the United States, from Florida to Delaware has been proposed for oil exploration. According to the Obama administration's own estimates, seismic exploration off the east coast of the U.S. would kill and injure up to 138,500 marine mammals.
Tell President Obama and Sectretary of the Interior, Ken Salazar, that the recent events in Peru have shown what they already know;- that seismic testing for oil can kill or injure massive numbers of dolphins and other marine mammals. Tell them to say NO ON SEISMIC TESTING.
