According to a recent 3D computer simulation study published in Natural Geoscience, glaciers in B.C. and Alberta are expected to shrink up to 80% in the next 10 years. The study says that, by 2100, the glaciers will have dried up to the point that they are affecting how much water is delivered to salmon spawning areas, as well as affecting ski resorts.
