Tell the Alberta government to put a permanent stop to the wild horse cull!!!

There are currently less than 700 wild horses roaming a huge area of Alberta. The government has been culling them over the past few years, either trying to adopt them out, or sending them for slaughter. Even if the horses are lucky enough to survive, they do not domesticate well and become depressed and unmanageable and often do not fare well on a long term basis. The cull is largely due to pressure put upon the government by the cattle farmers who share the land with the horses. Wild- life experts agree that there is no major impact on the land where the horses graze, as it is such a large area that it can sustain both horses and cattle. For more information, please refer to the recent W5 investigation that was done on the subject. Please sign the petition and send a message to the Alberta government to put a permanent end to the cull of wild horses in the province, and tell them that we want the horses to stay wild and free!
