Glyphosate, this is the active substance of a herbicide. It is included, e.g., in "Roundup", the throughout Europe mostly sold pesticide of the group of Monsanto. Glyphosate is used all over the country and in large quantities in the agriculture.
Glyphosate assessment: Why the federal institute of risk assessment comes to another judgment than the cancer researchers of the WHO
Berlin: By the judgement from the World Health Organization (WHO) as a "probably cancer-causing" classified herbicide Glyphosate the federal institute of risk assessment (BfR) has not considered important studies to the Gentoxizität and Kanzerogenität or has evaluated faultily. This arises from a study of the toxicologist Peter Clausing on behalf of Campact and the pesticide action network (PAN). Clausing has submitted the final BfR report exclusively passed to him to the readmission of Glyphosate for the first time to an independent scientific check. The report is the essential basis for the decision whether Glyphosate is admitted in the EU for other ten years or longer. The BfR keeps secret this report up to now before the public.
"The report of the BfR twists facts and hides important studies to the cancer danger of Glyphosate or shows them wrong. The conclusion is obvious that the BfR has weakened the proof situation against Glyphosate on purpose", said Clausing. Thus 44 scientific publications which proved a genetic-toxic effect have not been considered in the segment to Gentoxizität. The BfR has included the manufacturer's studies which describe no cancer-releasing effect, however.

im März 2015 hat die Weltgesundheitsorganisation WHO Glyphosat als "wahrscheinlich krebserregend beim Menschen" eingestuft. Wirkstoffe, die Krebs auslösen, haben in der Umwelt nichts zu suchen. Das Vorsorgeprinzip der EU gebietet, auch dann schon einzugreifen, wenn der letzte Beweis für die Schädlichkeit eines Stoffes noch nicht erbracht ist. Es liegt es in Ihrer Verantwortung, Landwirte und Verbraucher vor Gesundheitsgefahren zu schützen. Bleiben Sie nicht bei halbherzigen Verboten, sondern verbieten Sie Glyphosat vollständig!
