Please sign this petition in an effort to have the precious kitten removed from the home where it was beaten by a belt and choked. The Tuscaloosa Police Department hasn't (and shows no evidence) that they will remove a known abused kitten from the abuser's home even though there is video and pictures on social media showing the abuse (and bleeding as well).

Update from the media as of 11/9/2015 - Tuscaloosa, Alabama police searched an animal cruelty suspect's home today in Sumter County and seized his cellphone. During that search, they said they were able to see the cat and take photos and video as evidence for their investigation yet the poor kitten remains with the abusers.
Please sign this petition to HAVE THE KITTEN REMOVED FROM THIS TERRIBLE SITUATION.
Once I have a minimum of 1,000 signatures, I will turn this petition over to the FBI office in Tuscaloosa for action. Please sign and share!
Additional information as of 11/12/2015 - Some have asked to share the phone number of the police department who has been 'investigating' this horrible crime. It's the Tuscaloosa Police Department...their contact info is: Address: 3801 Mill Creek Ln, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401 Phone:(205) 349-2121. I will try and find out the investigators name and contact info later today and will post it as well.
The day that we allow (publicy) an animal to be abused and boasted about on social media and NOTHING is done about it, is the day we will see more and more of this horrible abuse happen. By law enforcement not taking the animal out of this dangerous situtation sends a message to others that they can do the same thing and get away with it. This needs to STOP! We must stand up as one on this issue and get this animal REMOVED FROM THIS HOME!
Dear Federal Bureau of Investigation - Tuscaloosa, Alabama Office,
Behind every signature on this petition is a person who deeply cares for the welfare of animals. Animals are defenseless and do not belong in every household...especially in households of abusers. The recent evidence of the kitten being abused by being struck by a belt and choked is no exception. The owners/abusers do not deserve this animal nor do they ever need another animal in the future.
We are asking that this publicly abused kitten be taken away from the abusers IMMEDIATELY and placed at a shelter or with a foster home until it can be adopted into a safe and permanent place.
Thank you,
Very Concerned Citizens for Animal Welfare
