Jasmine Abdullah also known as Jasmine Richards was convicted of felony lynching on June 1st 2016. She was sentenced to 90 days in county jail and 3 years probation. This wrongful conviction and unnecessary sentence is apart of a going attempt by the Pasadena Police Department to stop Jasmine's work in Pasadena to expose the cover up of the Kendrec McDade shooting by the Pasadena pd and to enpower the black community in Pasadena. Y
Currently Jasmine is facing 7 misdemeanor charges all steming from work in pasadena. We need the city attorney Michelle Bagneris to drop all charges against Jasmine Abdullah so she doesn't get any additional time and so she is truly free to continue the work she is doing in Pasadena.
Jasmine Abdullah's next court date is July the 14th at the Pasadena courthouse.
