Personally I don't find causing extreme suffering to millions of helpless ducks by cruelly ripping out their feathers while alive and fully conscious to feel all that luxurious. So imagine my shock and disappointment when shopping for a comfortable, high quality sofa, to discover that I was sitting on cushions stuffed with duck feathers on Cindy Crawford's HOME brand sectional.
Dear Ms Crawford,
With so many down-alternatives available for products like sofa cushions and pillows, it seems cruel to choose to stuff your high end sectionals with feathers that have been cruelly ripped from living birds, leaving them in extreme pain and suffering. This choice of "luxury" materials cost your company my business for this purchase, and may cost the business of many more as the word is shared about this practice.
I am dissappointed not only for the birds who were harmed making these sectionals and the 14 down stuffed pillows that come with it... but for myself as I truly thought I had found a quality piece of furniture that my family would enjoy until I read the label.
I asked the sales associate if the sofa was available in a cruelty free option, and she said it wasn't. I find that shocking in an age when so many synthetic materials are available to make quality furniture from. Personallly, I find nothing luxurious about causing suffering to helpless living beings.
Please revise the materials used in the two sectional designs of Cindy Crawford HOME that contain down to included only cruelty free materials.
Thank you!
