#1. ELEPHANTS DON'T BELONG IN ZOO'S!
In Defense of Animals has released its respected annual list of the “Ten Worst Zoos For Elephants” in North America for 2015. In its twelfth-year, the list exposes the hidden suffering of elephants in zoos, where lack of space, unsuitably cold climates and unnatural conditions condemn Earth’s largest land mammals to lifetimes of deprivation, disease, despair, and early death.
As part of an encouraging trend, 2015 was the year that four more zoos closed their cruel elephant exhibits, three of which appeared on the 10 Worst Zoos for Elephants list in previous years.
1. Tie: Dallas Zoo, Dallas, Texas; Henry Doorly Zoo, Omaha, Nebraska; and Sedgwick County Zoo, Wichita, Kansas – Shady Swaziland Swindle.
We all remember the Swaziland 18 , don't we?? One of the biggest Con Job's the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service ever pulled off!
This Zoo currently keeps ten elephants in captivity. Why did they need to steal those babies away from their families in Africa, Where They Belong? Not because of a Drought, for human entertainment and financial gain!
Our Elephants don't deserve this treatment!
THESE TEN ELEPHANTS, Deserve a comfortable life at a sanctuary NOW, where she would have the opportunity to roam acres of natural habitat, play in a pond, forage for fresh vegetation, befriend other elephants, and enjoy a full, healthy, and enriched life.
WE DEMAND THE DALLAS ZOO RELEASE THESE INNOCENT ANIMALS TO A REPUTABLE ELEPHANT SANCTUARY SUCH AS TES..... (TENNESSEE ELEPHANT SANCTUARY).
