Let those states that wish to leave secede from the United States

It has become obvious that the left and the right cannot see eye-to-eye. It might be time for a divorce, so to speak. Those states that wish to continue on the road to socialism can stay in the union and those not wishing to go down that statist path should be able to form their own 
nation. So be it.
