This is *not* the image I am protesting about here. That's a stock image taken by Arkady Vyrlan and it's probably 'just' Russian beef steak. Read on...

Maybe they'll make you mad enough to do something about it. I'm especially not keen on #19. The one of the Icelander smiling while sharpening his curved steel blade. I'd personally like to smack that guy in the face...
He's also got photographs on of Stefan Ulfarsson, a chef at 3 Frakkar restaurant, serving up whale meat and potatoes over on getty images. Yes. That's almost certainly real whale meat.
(and yes I'll be petitioning them next, to stop them making loads of money by selling images of whale meat).
I am pretty sure that I am not permitted to use the real images to promote this campaign because they are not mine & I probably don't have his permission (I'm not really about to ask him either). I've studied graphic design and I know that it most likely doesn't fall within his idea of "acceptable use copyright guidelines".
Just so everything is 100% crystal clear, I actually had to pay $4 to use the image shown here from 123RF, to keep everything 100% legal. It's the most horrid thing I've ever bought... and I'll be making another petition soon, so hopefully that is the absolute last time anyone makes money off of whale meat images.
Please sign & share the petition. Tell Mr. Halldórsson that we don't think what he's photographing is very nice at all. Tell him to stick to photographing other things instead of dead whales... he appears to have many other companies on his client list.

I can see that you're a skilled photographer. I can see that.
I can see that you yourself were just an observer and probably have no part in killing whales. But I want you to see people's reaction to your images. You should not be earning any money from selling images of whale meat. No one should.
No amount of bokeh, exposure compensation, lens sharpness, colour-correction, distortion-correction and other post-processing techniques are going to make people appreciate photographs of dead whales.
