#1. ELEPHANTS DON'T BELONG IN ZOO'S!
The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Gardens is holding four of Our Elephants Captive.
They include, (Jati, Mai-Thai, and Schottzie) along with Sabu, a bull. JATI arrived at the Zoo in 1991. She was captured in Malaysia in 1988 as a one year old baby. She has spent 25 years as a slave for human entertainment. Princess Schottzie II was born in a zoo, December 15, 1975 at the Copenhagen Zoo then was moved to Cincinnati on December 10, 1978. Then to the Fort Worth Zoo on April 23, 1990. Back to Cincinnati on May 25, 1994. Then to the Dickerson Park Zoo on April 22, 1996. B-Sabu and JatiRelocation- Arrived at the Coack to Cincy on June 17, 1996. She has/had 10 Siblings, 3 alive, 7 are dead.
Mai-Thai A female, Asian was Wild born in 1973 in Thailand and is 43 years-old.
Mai-Thai First went to Dickerson Park Zoo on September 25, 1995. Came to Cincinnati on November 2, 1995. Went back to Dickerson on April 15, 1996. Then back again to Cincy on June 24, 1996.
SABU, is an Asian male, Wild born in Malaysia in 1988- 28 Years Old. He first went to the Louisville Zoo coming from Cinicnnati on January 16, 1988. Then went to the Dickerson Park Zoo on September 10, 2002. He was transferred to Cincinnati on November 1, 2007.
Sabu and Jati had a baby in 1988. He was then taken away from them and was shipped off to the Columbus Zoo in 2003, where he died in 2005 from the Endotheliotropic herpes virus.
These Elephants have been through enough, it's time for them to retire.
WE URGE THE CINCINNATI ZOO TO RELEASE THEIR ELEPHANTS TO A REPUTABLE ELEPHANT SANCTUARY SUCH AS TES..... (TENNESSEE ELEPHANT SANCTUARY). IMMEDIATELY.
ZOO'S ARE A THING OF THE PAST.
