GRANPARENTS VISITATION RIGHTS

Arizona law does not permit Grandparents to request visitation of their grandchildren unless:
1.) The parents have been divorced for 3 months

2.) One parent has been dead 3 months

3.) One parent has been missing for 3 months

This law is unfair for grandparents who want to have a relationship with their grandchildren but are denied that relationship due to issues between parents and grandparents.

If a grandparent can provide a safe and loving relationship with their grandchild, neither the grandparent nor grandchild should be denied the joy of spending time together.
This is an issue that needs our attention!!  Too many grandparents are being denied the joy of a relationship with thier grandchildren with nowhere to turn for help!
