Whoopi Goldberg is scheduled to moderate a
panel at the United Nations on March 17th, 2009. The panel will discuss Scifi Channel's
Battlestar Galactica, and examine the television show's perspective on issues such as war, terrorism, and human rights.
We think Whoopi should wear one of the signature hats, originally worn by her while playing her character Guinan, from Star Trek: The Next Generation, during the panel discussion.
The reason we think Whoopi should wear the Hat is that it would be undeniably frakin' cool.
A recent poll concluded that 100% of respondents liked Whoopi. 99% of those same respondents also exhibited an affinity for the Hat. The statistical analysis demonstrates that, while Whoopi is Da Bomb, and the Hat is certainly nifty, Whoopi plus Hat = Kicka$$.
The poll also concluded that 1% of the respondents that disliked the hat are idiots, and will probably sign this petition for the sole purpose of posting a comment like "Woopy SUX! TEH HAT IS STOOPID!!! LOLOLOLOL!"
That, or "I am offended by your obvious disregard for the subject of Blah! Don't you know that every 2 seconds, 95 out of every 100 blah blah in the world are blahed to death with blah using a rusty blah blah blah creamsicle? Don't you have anything better to do?"
No.
And to boot, Whoopi has said
publicly that she thinks the Hat is "great!"
Whoopi? At the United Nations? Wearing Hat? Hell yeah!
