Support religious freedom and tolerance in Germany

Religious groups and beliefs are continuously attacked in Germany by the government, with the justification that these violate "Human Rights" or the constitution of Germany.
The most recent event is an attack against the Church of Scientology in Germany.
Though only a few weeks ago, Scientology was recognized as a religion in Spain and Portugal and also earlier this year was found as a religious community by the European Court for Human Rights the German ministry for interior announced investigations on the Church of Scientology with the aim of forbidding Scientology in Germany.
The idea which is promoted by the german government is that a Scientologist should not be allowed to fill an official position such as teacher, lawyer, doctor or similar.
A Scientologist is supposed to renounce his religion if he wishes to become a teacher or a similar profession.
The accusations and the further investigations are not based on any facts and this is only another violation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights:
"ARTICLE 18... Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; this right includes freedom to change his religion or belief, and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance."
The Church of Scientology supports since many years social betterment programs in the field of Human Rights, Anti-Drug Campaigns, Illiteracy, Rehabilitation of Criminals and bringing morals back to society with their distribution of The Way to Happiness, the first moral code based wholly on common sense.
Scientology has been attacked in Germany for many years and despite all investigations, which have consumed an enormous amount of money and time, no facts were found proving the accusations of the German Government as true.
Support this petition to show the German Government that religious intolerance is no longer accepted by the society.
It is not just about Scientology. It is a matter of protecting Human Rights and the freedom of belief for ALL religious groups and beliefs.
