A 65 year old Spartanburg, South Carolina woman, hung and burned her nephews pit bull, for chewing on the woman's bible. They later found the pit bull thrown in some leaves, with the electrical cord still around the badly burned body of the Pit bull, the dog had been there for 2 weeks.
Miriam Smith, claims "God", told her to do this to her nephews pit bull. The dog was chained in the yard, when Smith left her bible on the ground of her patio, where the pit bull got a hold of it.

Image the screams of that poor defenseless animal. I am so sick to my stomach that it seems daily another Pit Bull has been tortured and killed by the hands of a human. The laws must get stricter for these people that would do such a mean and cruel thing to a beautiful living soul, the Pit Bull, or any animal for that matter.
We must value and respect a life more than it is done. A living thing, is a living thing. It feels, it bleeds, it loves, and because of ignorance, it dies.
The killing must stop!!!!
This woman must be punished to the max.
Miriam Smith Killed Dog For Chewing On Bible: Nephew's Pit Bull Hanged From Tree, Burned To Death
Greetings,
Dear Sir or Madam:
Regarding Miriam Smith, the woman that killed her own nephews pit bull for chewing on a bible, then burned the poor defenceless animal, truly needs to maximum penalty for her crime. No slap on the wrist please.
Everyday it seems that another beautiful pit bull was tortured or killed by the hands of a human, and the laws truly need to be stricter to save these animals.
Please hear our cries for this poor pit bull. Can you imagine the screams, the pain and suffering the pit bull went through? It truly breaks our hearts. This pit bull is not a "devil dog", and it is truly ignorant on Miriam Smith's part for saying the dog was.
In all honesty someone needs to come forward to defend this pit bull, and we are the voices of these animals, please hear us!
I thank you for your time
