Nathalie Morin, a young Canadian woman of 24 is held against her will by her husband Saeed Al Sharahni, with her two children Samir (6) and Abdullah (2) in Saudi Arabia.
Nathalie met Saeed in Quebec in 2001 and got pregnant from him when she was 17. Saeed was then expelled from the Canadian territory but kept calling Nathalie every day during 3 years, speaking about the great family they could have together with Samir. Nathalie and Samir visited him twice for vacations. In 2005, she agreed to join him in Saudi Arabia and live as a family. Since 2005, the situation has been getting worse and worse. Nathalie, Samir and Abdullah are mistreated, beaten, malnourished and confined to the apartment. There is nothing left but two small mattresses, on which the children lay all day long, every day. 6 year old Samir doesn't go to school, he doesn't speak yet and needs to see a specialist, but his father refuses; the two brothers don't play with other children and don't go to the doctor while Abdullah suffers from asthma and allergy. Nathalie can access the phone or the Internet only when Saeed decides she can use them. Nathalie has got pregnant again against her consent. In Saudi Arabia, women need the authorization of their husbands to leave the territory, and children are submitted to the same authority.
Nathalie, her family, her support committee, Members of the Canadian parliament, Woman Rights organizations ask King Abdullah Ben Abdul Aziz Al Saud, King of Saudi Arabia, to deliver 3 exit visas to make them leave the terrible situation they're in.
Join us and sign this letter asking King Abdullah Ben Abdul Aziz Al Saud the visas that will make Nathalie, Samir and Abdullah come back to Canada and live by their loving family.

Nathalie Morin, une jeune canadienne de 24 ans est retenue contre son gré par son mari Saeed Al Sharahni, avec ses deux enfants, Samir 6 ans et Abdullah 2 ans, en Arabie Saoudite.
Nathalie rencontra Saeed au Québec en 2001 et tomba enceinte de lui à 17 ans. Saeed fut expulsé du territoire canadien, mais continua de l'appeler tous les jours pendant 3 ans pour lui parler de la belle famille qu'ils pourraient former ensemble avec Samir. Nathalie et Samir sont allés en vacances deux fois en Arabie. Puis, en 2005, Nathalie accepte de rejoindre Saeed en Arabie et de construire une famille. Depuis 2005, la situation est de plus en plus difficile. Nathalie, Samir et Abdullah sont maltraités, battus, mal-nourris et enfermés dans l'appartement. Il n'y a plus rien à part deux petits matelas sur lesquels les enfants sont allongés chaque jour, toute la journée. Samir, 6 ans ne va pas à l'école, ne s'exprime pas encore et a besoin de voir un spécialiste, ce que son père refuse, les deux frères ne jouent pas avec d'autres enfants, ne vont pas chez le médecin bien qu'Abdullah souffre d'asthme et d'allergies. Nathalie peut avoir le téléphone ou internet seulement lorsque Saeed décide qu'elle peut l'avoir. Aujourd'hui Nathalie est encore enceinte, contre son gré. En Arabie saoudite, une femme doit avoir l'autorisation de son mari pour quitter le territoire, ainsi que pour les enfants.
Nathalie, sa famille, son comité de soutien, des députés canadiens, des organisations de défense des droits de la femme demandent au Roi Abdullah Ben Abdul Aziz Al Saud, Roi d'Arabie Saoudite de donner 3 visas de sortie à Nathalie, Samir et Abdullah et ainsi leur permettre de quitter cette terrible situation.

We, the undersigned, with the support of Woman Rights organizations, journalists, members of the Canadian parliament and hundreds of members of the support committee for Nathalie Morin, urge you to intervene for her and her three children.
As mentioned in many media in Canada and Saudi Arabia (Al Riyadh, June the 25th 2008) Nathalie Morin, a young Canadian woman of 24, is held against her will by her common law husband Saeed Al Sharahni, with her three children Samir, Abdullah and Sarah in Saudi Arabia. Since she has been living there (2005), the situation is getting worse and worse. Nathalie, Samir, Abdullah and Sarah are mistreated, beaten, malnourished and confined in the apartment. Your Majesty, the signatories of this petition urge the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to do us a favour: please, deliver 4 exit visas to Nathalie, Samir, Abdullah and Sarah and allow them to leave Saudi Arabia and join their loving family who has been waiting for them in Canada since 2005 now. We implore your kindness; your country cannot accept such a difficult situation for a woman and her children, who are all mistreated by this violent man.
