Hearst Ranch Zebras; http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=P7n0vYuM2mA
Last week it was reported that a family of zebras got loose from the Hearst Ranch in Californa. Apparently, the stallion, his mare and a weanling wandered onto the neighboring property belonging to DAVE FISCALINI, owner of Green Valley Cattle Co. When observed mingling with his horses and cows,... FISCALINI promptly took up a shot-gun and blasted two of them to death. The 3rd one ran off but was later also shot and killed by another neighboring rancher and co-hort of FISCALINI. The next thing FISCALINI did was to call a taxidermy service to have the dead zebra hides tanned for him and his friend. They wanted to make rugs out of them.
The story is emerging across all media venues and is causing much outrrage among animal rights and welfare advocates, as well as that of other ranchers who believe as we do, that this was a ruthless, callous and un-necessary act.

The zeberas may have been guilty of a civil tresspass upon the ranchers lands,....but their wanton killing without even a call to the Hearst Ranch is a CRIMINAL act and/or omission.
We are asking and urging Stephen Hearst, the Hearst Ranch and the Hearst Corporation to push for full prosecution for the offenders. If you agree that these offenders need to be held accountable for these crimes, contact Stephan Hearst by clicking onto the link below. There you will find a phone number as well as an email contact.
